What is recorded here

On a gentle SE facing slope overlooking Brandon Bay are the very ruined remains of an enclosure KE026-009----, probably a cashel, and a hut-site. The interior is very disturbed but appears to have been on 2 levels. On the upper terrace, a circular hut-site abuts the enclosing bank at W. This is 4.3m in internal diameter and the drystone-built inner face survives to a maximum height of .58m. The E half of the wall is traceable only as a very slight grass-grown bank and the entrance must have been positioned in this sector. The above description is derived from J.
