Hut site in Meallis

In rough upland pasture, on a sheltered terrace on the N-facing slopes of Macgillycuddy's Reeks. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2m) defined by a partially collapsed, well-constructed, drystone wall (T 0.9m; H 1m). The inner face of the wall slopes inwards, suggesting a corbelled stone roof. The entrance (Wth 0.6m) is at SE. There is another hut site (KE073-003003-) c. 2m to the WSW and two other hut sites (KE073-003----, KE073-003001-) are c. 10m to the ESE.
