Hut site in Meallis

In rough upland pasture, on a sheltered terrace on the N-facing slopes of Macgillycuddy's Reeks. The remains of a circular hut site (2.2m N-S; 2m E-W) defined by a partially collapsed, roughly constructed, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.6m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. Outcropping rock is incorporated into the wall along the E arc. The level interior is cut into the upslope (D 0.4m) at SE. Another hut site (KE073-003002-) is c. 2m to the ENE.
