Hut site in Lohart

In rough pasture on an uneven rocky area on a N-facing slope, sheltered by rock to the S. The remains of a rectangular hut site (4m E-W; 2.6m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 1.5m) on the S, W and N sides and on the E side by a wall shared with an adjoining hut site (KE101-006----). The entrance (Wth 0.8m) is at the E end of the N wall. Loose stones are scattered around the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
