Hut site located immediately N on floodplain of Glounreagh Monabrack Stream which marks townland boundary with Carrigeen Mountain. Hut-site (LI058-025----) 50m to ENE, cluster of 5 hut sites (LI058-026----) 100m to ESE. Listed as Knocknagalty 3 (Costello 2016, 305) and described as a small hut site aligned NW-SE consisting of a sub-rectangular shaped area (ext. dims. 4.2m x 2.5m; int. dims. 3m x 1m) enclosed by a low wall (avg. H. 0.2m; avg. Wth 0.6m) constructed with earth and some large stones, entrance at SE looking downstream (Costello 2020, Fig. 5.7). Built up against bluff which rises to the E and NE.
