What is recorded here

Knockmanagh holds a rectangular hut inside a rath, its grass-covered stone wall still standing thirty centimetres high beneath briars and gorse. The uneven interior contains a man-made underground passage, suggesting the site served more than simple shelter. Someone dug beneath the floor, perhaps to hide food, keep warmth or exclude others. The broken north-west corner may have marked the entrance, leaving the hidden passage as the true heart of the place.

Within a rath (KE067-009----) off centre to the SW. The remains of a rectangular area (6m N-S; 4.5m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.3m). The wall is partially covered with briars and gorse. A break in the NW corner may indicate an entrance. The surface of the interior is uneven.
