Hut site in Gowlane

In rough pasture, at the confluence of two rivers. The remains of a poorly preserved rectangular hut site (3m N-S; 2.4m E-W) defined by a grass-covered bank (Wth 0.6m; H 0.1-0.5m) which varies in height and contains several gaps. The wall is partially obscured by rushes. There is another hut site (CO102-058001-) 2m to the W. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
