What is recorded here

Inside the eastern curve of a Kerry rath, a circular hut kept its own shape with a grass-covered bank and scattered stone facing. Its southern entrance faced the open field rather than the protective wall, suggesting the resident valued light or escape more than extra defence. The hut measured large enough for a person to move freely, yet small enough to require every corner for living. It remains a quiet invitation to imagine the heat, noise and daily choices that filled that narrow space before time buried the details.

Within the NE quadrant of a rath (KE058-092----). The remains of a roughly circular hut (diam. 6.25m) defined by a grass-covered bank (H 1m; lowering to 0.6m at W) which abuts the bank of the rath internally along the NE arc.
