What is recorded here

Incorporated into a N-S field wall directly below the old village of Glanfahan. An oval corbelled structure, its roof closed at top by a series of flagstones. D: 2.5 x 1.7m. H: 1.65m. This is not marked on the OS maps and may be of fairly recent construction. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter.
