What is recorded here

In rough pasture, on the lower NW-facing slopes of Derryclancy Mountain. The remains of a rectangular hut site (6m N-S; 3.15m E-W) defined by the lower course of a wall which consists of cuboid stones (T c. 0.6m; H 0.1-0.4m). Smaller stones from the collapsed upper courses are scattered along the perimeter and are partly obscured by ferns. There is an entrance (Wth 0.8m) in the E wall. There is an enclosure (KE111-008001-) 10m to the SE and a hut site (KE111-008003-) 16m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
