Garranearagh preserves a circular hut inside a level rath, its wall surviving as a 1.4m band of stone collapse around a 5.8m interior. The dimensions suggest a small domestic or workshop space rather than a grand ceremonial building. People may have lived, stored tools or tended fire there before the roof and floor disappeared, leaving only the stubborn outline of human use.

The interior of the rath is level and the wall of the circular hut (KE079-063001-) survives as a band, 1.4m wide, of stone collapse. The internal diameter of the hut is 5.8m.
