What is recorded here

Fahee North is a small circular hut on a high plateau in County Clare. It is not a castle or a public monument, and no visible entrance or chamber is recorded. The hill is exposed, rocky and long under human use, so the site may have been a shelter, a marker or a forgotten dwelling. What is certain is that people shaped that edge of the landscape and left a small round shadow behind them.

On a prominent plateau in an upland karst area in rough pasture and within a field system (CL006-164----) extending over the entire hill. A small subcircular hut site (diam c. 7m) defined by a grassed-over wall and visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi MapGenie (2013-2018). A cairn lies c. 122m to the NE.
