What is recorded here

Dooneens holds an oval rubble hut built into the west wall of a nearby cairn field. The structure stretches thirteen metres east to west and eight metres north to south, yet time has reduced it to three courses and sixty centimetres of height. It is a small, broken shadow beside a larger field, inviting wonder about the people who shaped stone there before memory faded.

Described by Quinn and Carroll (2010) as ‘Located just to W of Cairn Field (35) and is built into the enclosing west wall of latter. Hut consists of an oval structure of random rubble. The hut survives to a maximum of 3 courses and measures 0.4m in width, o.6m in height. It measures 13m E/W by 8m N/S.'
