Hut site in Derrygarriv (glanarought By.)

In rough heather-clad pasture, in a sheltered hollow, on the N-facing slopes of Knockeirka. The remains of an oval hut site (3.5m N-S; 2m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.6m). Outcropping rock is incorporated into the wall at NE. A break in wall at SW may indicate an entrance. The S portion of the interior is built up and the N portion is cut into the upslope to create a level interior. There is another hut site (KE102-006004-) c. 15m to the E.
