In rough heather-clad pasture, on a break, on the N-facing slopes of Knockeirka. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3m) defined by a partially grass-covered stone walls (T 0.7m; H 0.15m). A break at W may indicate an entrance. The N portion of the interior is raised slightly to compensate for the hillslope. The interior is level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
