In rough pasture, on a bog-covered E-W terrace on the S-facing slopes of Bere Island. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3m) defined by a stone wall (0.6m; H 0.35m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. Traces of rubble are scattered in the interior and along the perimeter externally. The remains of a relict wall from a network of field boundaries (CO128-041001-) abut the hut site along its E and W arcs.
