Hut site in Coolroe (dunkerron North By.)

Located on the lower N slopes of Knockroe, S of Glasheencorgoad stream. A ruined, sod-covered, drystone hut of subcircular plan with a possible entrance in the disturbed SE sector. D: 5.5m. H: .7m. T: 2.4m. An opening to a drystone-built Man-made underground passage is located within the hut's interior; flooding prevented access. A number of displaced roofing lintels are scattered on the ground surface. This may be 'Lios Cúláin', as noted by Ó Cíobháin (1978, 99). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
