What is recorded here
Carlingford Parish holds a ringfort containing two clear hut sites and a possible third, proving the stronghold housed several separate households rather than one isolated family. The compact layout suggests crowded living, shared firelight and constant negotiation over space. People likely moved between huts as quickly as animals in a barn, blending domestic life into a single defensive rhythm.
Traces of two hut sites (LH008-019002- and LH008-019003-) and a possible third (LH008-019004) noted in interior of ringfort (LH008-019001-).
