Hut site in Cloontreem

In rough undulating hill pasture, on a W-facing slope within a network of relict field boundaries (CO115-060----). Turf-cutting has exposed the remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.6m) which is now defined by a stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) that protrudes intermittently above the surface of the remaining shallow bog. The interior is raised (H 0.15m) at the W and is cut (D 0.1m) into the upslope at the E to compensate for the hillslope.
