Inside the ancient rath at Clashnagarrane, large sandstone boulders still mark the west, north and east walls of a rectangular hut. The structure measured roughly five point six metres across and retained about half a metre of height when surveyed. A short underground passage lay nearby to the north, inviting speculation about hidden rooms or forgotten storage. The stones suggest a small domestic life buried within a much larger defensive landscape.

Within a rath (KE058-082----). The remains of a possible rectangular hut (5.6m E-W; min. 3.2m N-S) defined by a wall (H c. 0.5m) along the W, N and E sides. The wall consists of large sandstone boulders. There is a possible Man-made underground passage (KE058-082001-) c. 6m to the N.
