What is recorded here

On a level tract of rough pastureland about 75 m W of Kilgobnet (KE052-003001-). A roughly circular internal area, 3 to 3.6m in diameter, is enclosed by a bank of earth and stone 1.3m high and 3.2m wide, with a .9m wide entrance gap at ESE. Numerous old field fences occur in this area, and directly S of the hut site is a series of low banks possibly representing a yard. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
