Hut site in Cathair Samháin

A subcircular stone hut (KE089-066001-), 5.25m x 3.85m internally, is almost centrally located in the interior of the caher. Its wall varies in height from .3m to 1.6m, and it is 1.3m in average width. There is an entrance gap, .8m wide, at E. Adjacent to the caher wall at W are two conjoined subcircular structures, which may be of relatively recent origin. They survive as bands of stone collapse. The above description is derived from A.
