Hut site in Canalough

On an E-W rough pasture ridge with occasional outcropping rock, near the seashore on the S side of Blackball Harbour. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.2m N-S; 2.5m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 0.75m; H 0.35m) of earth and stone, which is largely obscured by long grass. The level interior is raised (H 0.1m) at the N and cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the S to compensate for the hillslope. Another hut site (CO127-050015-) is 12m to the N.
