Hut site in Canalough

On a level terrace, on the N side of an E-W rough pasture ridge with occasional outcropping rock, beside the seashore on the S side of Blackball Harbour. The poorly preserved remains of a rectangular hut site (6.4m N-S; 2.5m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 0.85m; H 0.2m) of earth and stone at the E and S and elsewhere by only intermittent traces of the bank. An entrance (Wth 0.5m) is located at the centre of the E bank. There is a hut site (CO127-050010-) 6m to the E and another hut site (CO127-050008-) is 7m to the W.
