Hut site in Canalough

On a level terrace, on the N side of an E-W rough pasture ridge with occasional outcropping rock, beside the seashore on the S side of Blackball Harbour. The remains of a rectangular hut site (5m N-S; 2.2m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 0.8m; H 0.4m) of earth and stone. The W side of the bank is almost vertical on the inside of the hut site and slopes down gradually externally. An upright slab set radially in the centre of the E bank may indicate the entrance location. There is a hut site (CO127-050010-) is 15m to the W and another hut site (CO127-050012-) is 20m to the E.
