Hut site in Canagullen

In boggy hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Glanmore River and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE111-025004-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.8m) defined by a drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.2-1m). The lower course stones in the wall protrude above the bog and are partly grass covered. The N portion of the interior is cut (D 0.8m) into the upslope and the S portion is built up (H 0.65m) externally, creating a level interior.
