Hut site in Caheravart — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Caheravart in County Cork holds a rectangular hut site beside a children's burial ground, its grassed walls still marking a narrow opening on the western side. The structure may have served the early ecclesiastical enclosure during the medieval period, perhaps giving shelter to a keeper, healer or visitor moving through that solemn landscape. A similar hut site lies to the west, suggesting the place was not isolated but part of a small inhabited world where daily life and death shared the same ground.

In Caheravart early ecclesiastical enclosure (CO102-024002-), adjacent to enclosing element of children's burial ground (CO102-024004-). Rectangular structure (12.4m N-S; 7.1m E-W), grassed-over walls (H 1m; Wth 1.2m). Opening in W wall (Wth 3.4m). O'Shea and Crowley suggest medieval date (1972, 65).
