Hut site in Bartragh Island

In the estuary of the River Moy, located at the SE tip of an elevated spit of land that forms a small peninsula jutting out of the W side of Bartragh Island. A low arc of bank (Wth 1m; H 0.2-0.3m) defines NW side of a roughly D-shaped area (3.5m NW–SE; 2m NE–SW) at the very tip of the peninsula. The SE side is defined by the almost vertical scarp of the peninsula. There is a slight hollow outside the arc of bank. This may be the surviving half of an originally circular hut site, the SE half of which has been eroded away. There is another possible hut site (MA022-116002-) located 11m to NW.
