What is recorded here
Cappanawalla hillfort overlooks Ballyconry, suggesting the circular hut and curvilinear fields belonged to a settled community rather than a temporary camp.
On the E slope of Cappanawalla. A possible circular hut site (diam. c. 10m) was noted on Digital Globe (imagery date 2011-13) and reported to the National Monuments Service by Ros Ó Maoldúin. It is embedded in a curvilinear field system (CL002-034001-) and may be associated with Cappanawalla hillfort (CL002-076001-).
