What is recorded here
In rough hill pasture, on bog, on the SE-facing slopes of Maulin overlooking the valley of the Owgarriff River. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.2m), which protrude above the bog, are defined by four large upright slabs (T 0.35m; H 0.55m) set at intervals on the perimeter with a scatter of smaller stones in between. Rushes obscure the entire hut site. There is a hut site (CO115-103004-) 6m to the SE and another hut site (CO115-103006-) c. 40m to the N.
