Hut site in Ballard Commons

In rough hill pasture, on bog, on the SE-facing slopes of Maulin overlooking the valley of the Owgarriff River. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.55m), which protrudes above the surface of the bog. Rubble and rushes obscure the interior and rubble is also scattered downslope to the SE. There is a hut site (CO115-103006-) 5m to the E and another hut site (CO115-103008-) 6m to the N.
