Within an old field system, on a ridge extending SW from Brandon mountain. A complete corbelled drystone hut, opening at W into a small enclosure measuring 3 x 2m. Lintelled entrance is .51m wide x .7m high x 1.1m long. Small recess at SE and above it a probable window opening. D: 2.5m. H: 1.8m. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1150. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
