Hut site in Baile Cainín

In a rough, wet field on N slopes of a broad NE-SW valley on the W side of the Brandon mountain range. The site of the 'cloghaun' marked on 2nd edition of OS map is occupied by an oval enclosure, defined by low upright stones interspersed with some drystone walling. D: 3.8 x 4.6m. H: .5m.
