Aughinish, County Clare. The site is a possible circular hut, about 7 metres across, at the north-west corner of a field beside Aughinish church. Elaine Lynch uncovered it in January 2024 while clearing scrub. Shells lay exposed in the soil, and a shallow depression marked the centre. The place may have been a small dwelling, a seasonal shelter or a forgotten working spot. Its shape is simple enough to believe, yet human life is absent from the account.

At the NW corner of a field immediately N of Aughinish church (CL003-010----). Remains of a possible circular hut site (diam. c. 7m) were discovered by Elaine Lynch in January 2024 during scrub clearing. The area was grass-covered and somewhat disturbed by animal activity.
