What is recorded here

Ardfert holds a round fort where three mounds still mark the places houses once stood. A bank and ditch enclosed the small community, leaving behind a shape that suggests crowded living rather than empty display. The stones and soil preserve the footprint of people who built, argued, loved and departed before memory faded.

Univallate ringfort KE021-108---- consists of a circular area enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The interior contained three mounds, two in the centre and one towards the SW sector; these are possibly the remains of house sites (KE021-108001-, KE021-108002- and KE021-108003-).
