Hut site in Annagh More

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope to the W of The Paps of Dana. The remains of an oval hut (2.8m N-S; 2m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.6m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. A rock outcrop is incorporated into the wall at NE. The N portion of the interior is cut (H 0.3m) into the upslope to create a level interior. There is an enclosure (KE076-006----) c. 40m to the S. Another hut site (KE076-006006-) is c. 35m to the NW and there is a relict field wall (KE076-006005-) c. 80m to the NE.
