Achadh Dúin holds a circular earth-and-stone mound five metres wide, set twenty metres east of the promontory fort bank. Inside the mound sits a rectangular hut, small enough to fit one room and one life. The fort loomed beside it like a warning, while the hut offered a place to rest, watch or hide from the coastal wind.

Situated just 20m to the E of the external bank of the promontory fort (MA007-003001-) lies a circular mound of earth and stone (diam. 5m) with a rectangular hut within it.
