Terraced three-bay three-storey house, built c.1880. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack, eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls. Diminishing square-headed window openings with tooled limestone sills having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening with raised render surround with tooled stone step and replacement glazed door surmounted by blocked overlight.

A prominent building which makes a notable addition in a terrace for smaller, less well proportioned houses. Retaining its historic form and fabric, including diminishing timber sliding sash windows, it is an interesting house in a streetscape which has unfortunately lost much of its historic character.
