End-of-terrace two bay three-storey house, built c.1830, with single bay two-storey extension to rear. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack with stepped cornice and terracotta pots, and replacement rainwater goods. Red brick laid on Flemish bond walls with yellow brick block-and-start quoins, smooth rendered walls to rear and elevation and extension walls. Square-headed window openings with yellow brick block-and-start surrounds and lintels, replacement uPVC windows, and stone sills. Square-headed door opening with yellow brick block-and-start surround and lintel, painted timber panelled door with overlight. Outbuildings to rear concealed by random rubble wall with square-headed door openings. House constitutes one of a terrace of eight largely identical houses.

A modest terraced-house of red brick, this building, together with the rest of its group, constitutes a fine example of the type of housing built beyond the immediate centre of Victorian towns around the turn of the nineteenth century to alleviate the overcrowding of town centres. Despite the loss of some integral fabric, principally window fittings, this building and the rest of its group are a significant part of the architectural heritage of Monaghan Town.
