Detached three-bay two-storey house, post-1922, on a symmetrical plan. Renovated. Replacement hipped artificial slate roof with ridge tiles, gritdashed roughcast chimney stacks on axis with ridge having corbelled stepped stringcourses below stepped capping supporting ribbed terracotta pots, and uPVC rainwater goods on eaves boards on box eaves. Gritdashed roughcast walls on rendered plinth with rendered strips to corners supporting rendered band to eaves. Segmental-headed central open internal porch with two replacement steps, and concealed dressings with hood moulding over on corbelled label stops framing glazed timber panelled double doors having overlight. Square-headed door opening into house with glazed timber panelled double doors having sidelights on panelled risers below overlight. Paired square-headed window openings to front (south) elevation with square-headed window openings to rear (north) elevation centred on segmental-headed window opening (half-landing), concrete sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement two-over-two timber sash windows to front (south) elevation with two-over-two timber sash windows to rear (north) elevation centred on one-over-one timber sash window having stained glass margins. Set back from street in landscaped grounds with rendered diagonal piers to perimeter having curvilinear domed capping supporting iron gate.

A house representing an interesting component of the twentieth-century domestic built heritage of Béal an Mhuirthead [Belmullet] with the architectural value of the composition suggested by such attributes as the compact plan form centred on an elegant doorcase; and the very slight diminishing in scale of the coupled openings on each floor producing a feint graduated visual impression. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original or sympathetically replicated fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior, thereby upholding the character or integrity of a house making a pleasing visual statement in the streetscape in Sráid na Céibhe [Quay Street].
