Terraced three-bay two-storey former house, built c. 1740, now in use as restaurant and having timber shopfront to ground floor. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls with render eaves band, end pilasters and sill band to first floor. Square-headed openings with replacement uPVC windows and render label mouldings above. Early twentieth century shopfront comprising timber pilasters flanking openings, those to the outer edges with decorative consoles, with timber fascia and cornice above. Square-headed openings with fixed timber windows and central square-headed opening with timber panelled half-glazed door. Square-headed opening to south-east bay with timber panelled door.

This building is prominent within the streetscape due to its steep roof and two-storey form. The steep roof and narrow first floor window openings are indicative of its early eighteenth century date. The later shopfront addition provides context and artistic interest to the site.
