Built against the external face of the W wall of the bawn (LF017-009001-) associated with the fortified house (LF017-009003-)in Rathcline. An 18th-century illustration of the house and bawn by Daniel Grose depicts the ruins of a steeply pitched, single-pile, gable-ended house to the S of the NW angle tower of the bawn (Stalley 1991, 76). The house may be of late 17th-century date. No visible surface trace of it survives. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 5 July 2012
