What is recorded here

The Down Survey parish map of Mayglass (1656-8) depicts two houses close to the castle (WX047-003001-), and the terrier or commentary says that at Tegunan there is a castle, a slate house and some cabins. The location of the slate house is not known precisely but it was probably close to the castle.
