According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in 'Mullagh-Aby' there stands 'a thatcht house with a chemney' which in 1640 was under the proprietorship of 'James Prendergast of Tulloemealane Esqr Irish Papist' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 328). This house is unlocated within the townland of Moloughabbey.
