The present 18th-century house (LF013-060----) replaced an earlier residence, associated with the Achmuty family, that was possibly built c. 1640 or 1654 (www.buildingsofireland.ie, Reg. 13401305, last accessed 17 October 2012). Its precise location has not been identified.
