What is recorded here
A house and two cabins are depicted on a Bateman map of 1717 at Ballyhamlet, then called Ballyhamless (NLI: ms. 6148, 13). They are close to the N-S stream that is the W boundary of the townland, and just S of a small SE-NW stream that joins it. They remain unlocated.
