Detached three-bay single-storey house with attic accommodation, built c.1800. Single-bay single-storey flat-roofed extension (east). Now disused. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Roughcast rendered stone walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and rendered sills. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door. Limestone paving to entrance. Remains of adjoined outbuilding to west elevation.

A modest vernacular house retaining its original character, seen particularly in features such as the traditional timber battened door and sash windows. The asymmetrical fenestration is characteristic of such buildings. The survival of intact examples of this type in rural Ireland is becoming increasingly rare.
