What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay five-storey former house, built c. 1830, now in use as retail outlet. Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystack and moulded rendered parapet. Rendered walls. Timber sash windows to upper floors. Display window inserted to first floor and shopfront inserted to ground floor, c. 1975.
This building forms part of an imposing terrace with the adjoining buildings to the north and south. The scale and form of this group make a notable and positive addition to the streetscape. Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this group remains a significant contributor to the urban landscape.
