Terraced four-bay three-storey, house built c.1800, having timber shopfront inserted to front (north) elevation. Formerly also in use as shop. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, eaves course, uPVC rainwater goods and recent rooflights. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls to front (north) elevation. Camber-headed window openings with tooled limestone sills to front elevation, having replacement timber casement window to ground floor and uPVC casement windows to first and second floors. Round-headed door opening within timber doorcase to front elevation, comprising engaged Ionic columns, surmounted by brackets and open bed pediment. Tooled limestone step and timber panelled door surmounted by replacement spoked fanlight with timber spandrels. Timber shopfront to western end of front elevation, comprising pilasters surmounted by architrave, frieze, and cornice with foliate end consoles. Square-headed window opening, having fixed timber-framed single-pane display window with four-pane overlight over rendered stall riser. Square-headed door opening having double-leaf timber panelled doors surmounted by overlight. Small shopfront to western end of front elevation having timber frieze. Square-headed window opening with render sill, having fixed timber-framed single-pane display window over rendered stall riser. Square-headed door opening having glazed timber door surmounted by overlight.

A well-proportioned building which forms an integral part of a terrace of fine buildings. Larger in scale than the flanking buildings, it forms the central focal point of the group. The fine doorcase is a noteworthy feature, while the camber-headed openings are characteristic of the town.
