House Site No. 10 stood twenty metres southeast of Tomb 1C East during the Middle Neolithic, forming a four-and-a-half-metre arc of stake-holes without a hearth. It belonged to the same domestic zone as House Site No. 9 and produced at least eight vessels plus flints, suggesting people lived, cooked elsewhere, and kept containers near the tomb entrance. The absence of a hearth does not mean absence of life; it may mean the fire belonged to the neighbouring house while this one stored, assembled, or waited.

This Neolithic House Site, No. 10, is part of Eogan's Phase 3 Decorated Pottery complex: Domestic activity - Zone H, which includes an area beneath the entrance to Tomb 1C East where 6 hearths have been recognised. This phase, now called Middle Neolithic, is associated with the building of the tombs and dated to c. 3500-2900 cal. BC (Eogan and Cleary 2017, 41). This house site was located c. 20m SE of the entrance area to the E tomb and is entangled with House Site No. 9 just to the NE. It consisted of an arc (diam. c. 4.5m) of stake-holes S-W-N, but no hearth or occupation layer is associated with it. The zone produced evidence of at least 8 vessels as well as flints.
